Mpulse – Big Amount Freestyle

Week 42 of 52

“For week 42 of Mpulse’s ’52 Weeks’ music campaign, he decides to lend some bars to 2 Chainz and Drake’s ‘Big Amount’. Mpulse showcases his wide arsenal of flows along with a wide variety of references to current events.”

Over the course of the campaign i’ve kept the music largely original, but sometimes I prefer somebody else’s production to do some lyrical exercise. Hope you all enjoy.

This marks week 42 out of 52 for Mpulse’s “52 Weeks” music campaign, where he plans to release new music every week for a year straight. We greatly appreciate any and all support we receive throughout the duration of this campaign.

Mpulse – Let Me Breathe (Prod. by Mpulse)

Week 41 of 52

Produced by Mpulse

As we get closer and closer to the end of Mpulse’s ’52 Weeks’ music campaign with every release, Pulse makes sure to keep the same quality he’s had since week 1. With the self-produced ‘Let Me Breathe’, you can hear how much fun Mpulse is having during this span. He delivers an animated verse full of gems over his own bass-heavy, sample-driven production.

This marks week 41 out of 52 for Mpulse’s “52 Weeks” music campaign, where he plans to release new music every week for a year straight. We greatly appreciate any and all support we receive throughout the duration of this campaign.

Mpulse – My Year (Prod. Ken Diesel)

Week 40 of 52

Produced by Ken Diesel

As Mpulse approaches the homestretch of his ’52 Weeks’ music campaign, he has supreme confidence in himself and his abilities. Mpulse believes this is his year. Anybody chasing a goal that may seem out of reach needs to keep high self-confidence. Speak it into existence and stay positive.

Mpulse – Got No Chill (Prod. J Parker)

Week 39 of 52

Produced by J Parker

We all have those friends with no chill – this song is about the obnoxious ones of the group. As Mpulse continues his journey of 52 Weeks of new music, he continues to showcase his versatility. ‘Got No Chill’ serves as a very new and different sound for the Chicago emcee but he handles himself over the melodic-trap production of J Parker (Pusha T, Chief Keef, Lil Durk, King Louie).

Mpulse – Untitled Bars (Prod. Keef Boyd & Lyle LeDuff)

Week 38 of 52

Produced by Keef Boyd & Lyle LeDuff

“This rap shit’s like Lovers Lane, why these dudes all sound the same?”

The title says it all. Mpulse ditches the hook for a barrage of bars. The musical chemistry between Mpulse, Keef, & Lyle becomes more and more apparent every time they collaborate. The duo of producers know how to compliment Pulse’s flow with catchy melodies and drum work.

Mpulse – The Chase (Prod. Dr333w)

Week 35 of 52

Produced by Dr333w

Mpulse links back up with producer Dr333w to give you “The Chase”.

On this weeks release, Mpulse talks about his addiction to the rush of the chase. There are always casualties in the chase, no matter what you’re chasing, and Mpulse shares his personal experiences coming up in Chicago chasing success.

Mpulse – All You Got (Prod. Don Cannon)

Week 33 of 52

One of the more personal songs I’ve written, let alone released. I reminisce on some of my biggest losses that made me cling to my music even more. Ive always felt like music was my everything, and through ups and downs, a lot of the times I’ve felt like it was all I had. Listen for yourself.
