This week, Mpulse was inspired to throw some bars over the popular Dj Khaled single. Here’s what Mpulse had to say:
“Last week I heard one of my favorite rappers, Royce Da 5’9, BODY the ‘I Got The Keys’ beat. I was so inspired by it that I wanted to try my hand at it as well.”
Mpulse is never shy about hopping on other rappers beats and flexing his lyrical ability, so this release is no different. This marks week 21 out of 52 for Mpulse’s “52 Weeks” music campaign, where he plans to release new music every week for a year straight.
After years of work, Mpulse finally releases his first full-length album for FREE. While there are no features, a very talented group of guys contributed to the production of “Be Incredible”. Producers on the album include Don Cannon, Lyle LeDuff, Tec Beatz, Keef Boyd, and more.
Mpulse wanted the album to represent him and everything he is about, so he decided that featuring other artists wasn’t necessary. “Be Incredible” should serve as a serious introduction to who the 22 year old rapper is as a artist – and more importantly – a person. To coincide with the release of “Be Incredible”, Mpulse also did a blog to give insight on his experience and mind state. You can find that HERE.
Mpulse is back with the official video to his previously released “Ode To Hova” after the song received appreciation from several major publications like 2DopeBoyz, HipHopDX, and FakeShoreDrive. This time around, he’s infiltrating your television set to get his point across. The video was shot and edited by The Loafers, and there will be more visuals from Mpulse within the coming weeks!
Mpulse’s free album, “Be Incredible”, drops on Aug 27th. The free album will feature production from Don Cannon, Novacane, Keef Boyd, and a few other frequent Mpulse collaborators. There will be no features.
On Ode To Hova, Mpulse goes jackin’ for beats style over some of his (and the rest of the worlds) favorite Jay Z songs. It is 4 minutes of Mpulse showing he has what it takes to flow and rhyme with the best of them. Anybody who appreciates good Hip Hop will be entertained and impressed by what the young Chicago emcee is capable of.
Mpulse is currently finishing his free album, “Be Incredible“, that he will be releasing in August. He promises a sound unlike anything else that is being released. He will have no features, and he has worked with a strict handful of producers (that he has close working relationships with) to ensure that every record is genuine and of the highest quality.
